I’m giving my FDM printer its first run-out for 3-4 months, as I’m finding myself surprisingly short on 90mm round miniature bases.

🀞🏻 it Just Worksβ„’ and I don’t need to faff around with anything, as I really don’t have time for troubleshooting today!

I need to revamp an ancient PHP app I wrote for a local company over 12 years ago. I haven’t completely settled on how I want to go about it (because, to be honest, it’s a bit daunting) - but at least this time around I have .NET as an option!

Currently wiping my Reddit history, prior to deleting my account. I’m having to use a tool called PowerDeleteSuite to edit + delete posts and comments, because Reddit doesn’t have a β€œdelete my data” option built-in.

Well, I guess I won’t be using Reddit any more.

Incredibly detailed post from Christian Selig about what’s happening with Reddit and 3rd-party apps: https://reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/144f6xm/apollo_will_close_down_on_june_30th_reddits/

Unasked for quick thoughts on the Apple Vision Pro:

  • It looks sci-fi AF.
  • I’m intrigued and would try it out
  • Can’t wait to see what it’s like in 3-4 iterations
  • I kinda hope it lives up to the hype
  • Won’t be buying one

I restored my iPad to factory-fresh, as it was running incredibly slow. Doing so reset my chosen Siri voice across all my devices, from Irish voice 2, to British voice 1. That seems like a less than ideal thing to happen. Hopefully that’s the only setting that reset!

For the first time in years, I have no idea what to expect from WWDC (apart from the yearly OS updates). I’ve been so steeped in the Microsoft ecosystem for the last couple of years that my attention to the Mac has really dwindled.

I’m having one of those days where I just can’t get out of the gate on any task. Not sure it’s a motivation, focus, or other problem, but it’s definitely a “lights are on, but no one is home” type of feeling.

I’d like some time and energy for hobbies, please. 2 days off, and I’ve alternated between having to do a bunch of non-work jobs, and being exhausted 😩
